March Plotting and Nightmare.
When March comes into the Sphere City it brings along a new nightmare: the darker you nightmare. During this nightmare, characters who chose to be affected will be a darker version of themselves. Within reason anyway: there shouldn’t be any form of sexual assault in game. Seriously. Other than that, the definition of darker is up to you. Do you want your normally nice character to be an asshole? Go for it. Already got an asshole? Take em darker. How dark and how you’re defining dark are up to the player.
This nightmare will start on March 13th and run until March 31st. A log will go up for people to get their darker selves up on the 13th. Use this post for plotting things out etc.
How the Nightmare works.
The nightmare itself is a rolling one, which means that various domes will be affected at various times. This nightmare will happen in all domes but not at the same time. There will always be a way for an opt out. No one should be affected for the entire time.
While your character is in the affected domes, they will be the darker version of themselves that you chose. They go back to normal by leaving the affected domes.
Some Questions Answered
- Can my character make network posts while they are affected by the nightmare?
Yes! As long as they remain in the affected dome! - My character has abilities/powers in canon that they make the choice not to use. Can they have chosen them for this nightmare?
Yes! But within reason. All of the dome destroying powers are nerfed. Any mind control or whatever should be cleared with other players. - But I want my characters to be this all month!
Unfortunately, that's not how nightmares like this one work. You can have them affected more than once though. - Can someone be in the same dome as an affected person and not be an affected person themselves?
Sure if that's what you want. There is always a way to opt out of a nightmare like this one.
