Character!

● Canon: Marvel 616
● Occupation: member of the X-Men and X-Force.
● Housing situation: not picked yet haha
● Info: There's a link in her application to wikis. Long story short she has a very very complicated and convoluted history but is currently a member of the X-Men and X-Force which is a clandestine hit squad created by Wolverine to stop threats to mutants before they become threats. Recently she rode on a zombie dragon in Otherworld, which is a magical fairytale land that her family has weird connections to. She was Captain Britain for a while too. Which is like Britain's version of Captain American but with more magic and Arthurian legends and less patriotism. There's an entire Captain Britain Corps in magical fairyland and she was a member. Complete with another terrible costume.

Oh and she was recently Death. The one from the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. It came with another interesting costume
● What kind of things are you looking to do with this character? The core of the X-Men franchise has always been how their teammates and friends become basically family. I'd love to try to find CR for things like that. Negative CR or challenging CR would be great too! The X-Men have a long history of not really liking Avengers or heroes that aren't mutants so that would be interesting to explore. She's also had to make some really unethical difficult calls lately (murdered her lover, murdered her brother, sold a part of herself to save someone else, murdered a bunch of people that were responsible for a lot of mutant deaths and tortured her) so I'd like her to have to face that eventually.
● Do you have any specific character plans that you want people to know? I do not since I just apped her in. But I'm game for anything and everything!
● Are you looking for shipping/relationship stuff and if so what? Possibly, the X-Men are known for their many relationships. She's still gonna love Warren the most though.
● What kind of CR would your character want to have? Due to everything that's gone on recently she's not going to be looking super hard for actual friendships and instead will just be interested in as much information about this place as she can gather. So if your character has been researching this place or exploring it, she'd love to talk to them!!
● What kind of CR do YOU want your character to have? Actual friends or enemies, things that push her to loosen up a bit, just anything really!!
● What kind of assumed CR are you looking for? None really?
● If a character has interacted with another character and it's assumed, what would you want the other character to know about them? What would they have noticed?If anyone has heard her speak they'd notice she's got a very strong English accent. She would have telepathically surveyed for any friends or teammates upon arrival, so if you have a character with psychic abilities they might have felt an odd unidentifiable presence for a second.

I have to wonder how Betsy would react to interactions with a mutant who IS an Avenger and doesn't connect into his mutant family as much. Is he a traitor? I mean, in the grand scheme of things, he's practically mutant royalty ~~hahahah yes house of m~~

That would be interesting to have them discuss! Probably not so much traitor but just why them???? Most of the X-Men just seem bitter over the fact that the Avengers have never really tried to help mutant problems ~~and just make it worse. and never respect jet packs~~ she doesn't hate most of them, just has resentment towards Wanda for the whole House of M disaster and then the fact that Avengers never give a shit about mutants. I'd love to do something with that and see how they react to each other.

I mean, when your parents are avengers and the X-Men never came to save ya, his loyalty is sorta reasonable ~~mostly though how the x-men went after Wanda lost his respect~~

But yeah, Tommy sorta gets the lack of concern over mutant issues. But he isn't get most useful for that either.

But if you give his mom grief, well, I mean, he got into Scott and Logan and Emma's faces about it, I think he would def get defensive again

Yeah they lost it on Wanda which is a bit ironic considering the actual one at fault was Pietro and Magneto. Mostly Magneto. It's always somehow just Magneto.

Luckily Betsy has more tact than to be like oh yeah you're the kid of the chick that caused a mutant genocide!!! I think in Tommy's case she'd probably kinda understand his reluctance to get too involved in mutant issues given Magneto's uh...extreme stances on MUTANTS ARE BEST. Though hilariously she actually currently has MORE of a disdain for Magneto than Wanda because they got into some personal fights while on a team together recently.

The actual fault was Pietro and Dr. Doom. Let's apply blame properly here. Magneto was preparing to tell Xavier and them that his daughter wasn't safe. AND if you wanna level things before that, Janet van Dyne for mentioning Wanda's dead twins, and the Avengers for making sure the twins died to stop Mephistopheles. Soooo plenty of blame to go around. Hahahahaha

Thing is, Tommy doesn't mind his Gramps too much. But he's someone in their family that wears Red. And Red people in his family? Take themselves WAY too serious.

See, the Green ones? They have a bit more chill and give less fucks what other people thing. And Pietro changes colors so much that it's clear he doesn't even know where he stands.

See all the more reason to hate the Avengers. Clearly. lol

She's just salty about sensitive stuff Magneto brought up. Like the part where she let 5000 people die to try to save Archangel. I think she'd support his red costume theory. Magneto takes himself way too seriously

Well I mean the math there seems weird to Tommy. Just spell it out as someone she loves and he’ll take it. He would do it for billy.

I love interactions between him and Billy. Siblings are so adorable. Actually, not sure if you know but Betsy is also a twin! But yes, I would really love to have them interact! Maybe in the log? I'll probably throw up something for her eventually or I can tag you if you are?

Yeah, a log would be best. Because more actual chance to pin the fast kiddo down.

They don't need buttons. Buttons are for boring people.

And Tommy has STORIES. Which the adults may ACTUALLY be able to remember seeing as they aren't in that universe.

Did you mention needing an investigative researching type? Because Alex is a reporter, and it's pretty obvious if you want her to have heard about that!

I would love that. If she's a reporter she might be able to pick up on people talking about someone asking a lot of questions about?
