Fourth Wall Day.

So September in the Sphere is gonna be a fourth wall month. I’m putting up the plotting a little early so that people can do that whole planning thing as well as possibly doing some recruiting on the EMP meme when it comes out on Saturday! The plot will run from September second until October first but no fourth wall character needs to be here that long. Instead, they can poof in or out depending on the player’s inclination and stuff.

How this works on a plot level.

Plot wise: the Sphere will have been trying out some things in order to send people home, as its promised to do. Unfortunately, do to a miscalculation on its part, the actions that the Sphere takes instead draw people in, and it does it in a relative sort of mass. The characters who arrive as fourth wall visitors, will not be arriving in the podded beds in the domes. Instead, they’ll basically be arriving wherever the players want them to, including people’s private domes, etc. The idea is to have a little fun with this mechanic! By October first, this will mean that characters who aren’t apped in will simply disappear before the time the clock strikes twelve, returning to their own worlds, and current characters including those who’ve chosen to app will just be stuck here until the Sphere fixes things.

During the month long event, the council will be putting visitor characters in the two unused dorms in the housing area. Should the amount of characters exceed that, then the council will just urge people to “great creative.” Food amounts, water and oxygen has always been based on the amount of people in the Sphere, so more people are totally fine for all of those.

How Fourth Wall Works on an OOC level.

• Any sort of characters are welcome during the fourth wall event, save for the ones that current players have requested not be welcome! (Yes this includes AUs, doubles, CR AUs, pretty much all sorts of things like that!) A list of characters requested not to have happen will appear at the bottom of this post. Requested and offered characters will be in the plotting comments below.

• Visitor characters will arrive in town any time after 12:01 on September second, and their arrival will be where they chose. There will be an open log that will go up at that time for any in person interactions that players wish to have. There will be no second plot log this month in order to keep the focus on the Fourth Wall Day event shenanigans.

• Visitor characters can reply to that log with their characters. Additionally, visitor characters can reply to the network, but find themselves unable to make posts of their own. Posts from the entire time that Sphere has been running are fair game, including memory shares if player characters wish to point them out to anyone. Or if visitor characters tend to be investigatively minded.

• Visitor players are definitely welcome to keep backtagging their threads around fourth wall for as long as they’d like to! There’s not a limit on that.

Rules for everyone to keep in mind during Fourth Wall.

• Play nice. This is the most important rule, obviously. This should be a fun event, any OOC harassment will not be tolerated.

• If a character is on the DNW list. Don’t bring them. It doesn’t matter if it would be funny or whatever. Just don’t that makes you a jerk, and you’re violating the first rule of fourth wall day which is to play nice. People have reasons for not wanting those characters, even if you don’t know what it is.

• Characters not currently in the game will vanish at the stroke of midnight on October first. So does anything that they brought with them, including animals etc. Anything that they may have made or messages or letters or whatever will definitely stick around.

• Only characters apped within a week of end of the fourth wall will be able to be applied with their Fourth Wall memories. This is just to make sure that everyone’s all on the same page.

The two characters are so integrated that I probably wouldn't want someone else to do it since Maria will act on her own and using Angel herself and I'd probably do its own plotty thing for.

PLOTTING FOR ANGEL'S SISTER

Hello All,

I decided to put this here for ease. I'd like to bring in Angel's sister but this means that Angel herself can be controlled by her and shit is going to hit the fan fast because Maria is an ass. She will also try and get Angel to kill anyone close to her.

This is just a post to see if anyone would like to interact with Angel or Maria during this plot. Your character doesn't have to die, Angel can stop it but she'll feel awful about it. If no one wants to I might see about using an NPC of sorts so people can find Angel when she's back as herself looking horrified.

Let me know if you're interested and also poke her Permissions Post if you want to do something that is either gory or nsfw. Maira is kinda a walking talking warning of her own. So I'd like to know what people are comfortable with prior to threading.

oh that might be fun. their character design was based loosely off the three fates (cuz I was going to make a third sister that they don't know about) and maria is more or less death. she is chaos while Angel is beginning, choice and the path of life itself.

So Maria will be a hot mess, who will be here to use and just upset people. While also looking like Angel but with slightly pinker hair.

Me too! I had this whole big thing planned but when Angel joined this game she became more of a character herself. Which is awesome but the other two lagged behind. I like putting a lot into my OCs.
