What’s that Color and WHAT IS THAT THING THAT WANTS TO EAT ME?!
This is mod-approved, and 100% optional as far as people actually participating in the plot, but Loki is up to no-good again (he got bored, go figure) and Tommy gave him a very good (read ‘bad’) idea!
They were having a talk, and Loki offered to make everyone forget something about Tommy (just what isn’t important). The God of Mischief realized he’d never attempted something on that scale before and decided to give it a whirl and it’s going to have some unforeseen consequences.
Late at night on Saturday, the 23rd, Loki is going to attempt a memory spell designed to make everyone in the Sphere forget the word for the color “blue”. Because he’s never attempted anything like this before, it’s completely up to player discretion whether they sense anything magical is happening or are affected at all by the spell. You could even have them forget only to remember very quickly. It’s all up to you!
Now, the ochestration of this spell is going to set off an unforeseen chain of events that will result in the Sphere at large learning that a long time ago, Charis and Loki found a dragon’s egg in a sub-basement research laboratory and have raised the resulting dragon since then, Loki keeping it hidden behind wards and illusions...that are going to break when this spell doesn’t go off exactly as planned.
That means there will be an adolescent star dragon loose in the Sphere until her “parents” can wrangle her back into the abandoned dome she stays in and secure her there again. She’s large, the size of a large horse, levitates, and seems to be made of stars. Charis will be making a network post as soon as they realize she’s free (Sunday, the 24th) asking nicely (at least for Charis) to please not harm her child.
What does that mean for you guys? Again, this is all completely optional BUT the dragon is large, young, and unfamiliar with anyone other than Loki or Charis. She will defend herself (and she is a carnivore), so if you’d like, you’re all welcome to encounter her when exploring, or...you know, wherever. You’re not required to, and an encounter with her doesn’t have to result in injury or death, either! Totally your call!
By the end of the week, Loki and Charis will have gotten her back under control, and whether or not they face any sort of punishment for the havoc she causes is completely up to what you guys want to do with her!
