This is an extremely hard thing to post and I apologize for it not having any fancy coding but I wanted to get this out today. I love this game. I love the players, the characters and all of the energy and fun you guys bring to it which is why I'm kinda gutted to be making this post. For anyone who doesn't know, I have been extremely ill since October, I've lost a significant amount of weight and my online time on my computer is so limited I'm having to write this in two goes. When I'd posted the timeline of June of being back, I thought that they would have figured out and treated whatever is wrong. Right now we still don't have answers other than that I'm getting more ill.

You guys deserve a more active mod with a more active game which I just can't do right now. If someone would like to take over modding, I'd gladly give it to them, but if not I'm just going to let it become a sandbox that people who still love and want their CR (including me as soon as I can be back!) and want to play in the setting still.

This is not a decision that I have made lightly, or easily: I realize that I'd been lying to myself for a while about getting better. I kept cutting out other things thinking that it would make things easier for me to RP and mod and it didn't work. I am extremely sorry to be doing this and I probably should have done it before but I just loved playing with you guys so much I didn't want to make this call. And now I should actually say what I've been avoiding and talking around here: I am stepping down as mod and will be putting the game into sandbox mode unless someone wants to take over running it.

Hey all.

So uh, we know what this sort of post is about. I'm sorry to say that it's come time for me to move on from Sphere. Between a summer of plans with my husband, some responsibilities I've come into possession of, and my own difficulty at retaining focus in this game in particular, it has come to a point where I sort of need, for my own sake, to move on from Sphere with both Tommy and Rhy.

I'm really sad to go and love you all so much. I've always adored all of our CR and threads and everything else going on with Sphere. Thank you guys so much for helping getting my heart back fully into RP, which had been a hard thing for me until I was pulled here by Kim.

Gone doesn't mean losing me, though. I'm ALWAYS here for RP purposes, like PSLs, or just for talking. You're all still welcome to hit me up on plurk

I've been struggling to nail down Dorian's voice for a bit now, and so I've decided to send him home. Antonio has been very quiet as of late, so I'm going to let the old guy shuffle on home, too. I may bring him back if the inspiration returns!

STATE OF THE GAME

As I'm sure you guys have noticed, I have been extremely ill for some time now, and it's having a negative effect on the game with what energy I can give to it. I apologize for that. So don't worry, this isn't an endgame call or anything like that, but it is a bit of a stop gap. Right now, I'm just not up doing massive things like logs and what not. So, we're going into a bit of a sandbox format for the next two months, and hoping that I'll be better by then to actually do the things I need to do here.

So what does this mean?

How are we defining 'sandbox'.
Sandbox meaning no official events or logs but memory shares and a small list of general nightmares will be provided for people to run with. Nothing will be huge and game breaky.
When will this go into effect and how long will it run for?
It goes into effect immediately and should go back to normal on June 1st.
Will apps be open during this time?
Yes, if people would like to app.
What will AC be like during this time frame?
Check in only And afterwards on June first we'll go back to the original AC of ten comments.
Will you still be around to answer questions or if we need you in a mod capacity?
Yes of course. It may take me a few hours given my current online availability but I will get to things as quickly as I can.
Are you still gonna be playing during this?
I'm going to try!

Hello, everyone! This is Meghann again (who just brought Lorna in) with another character. This is Ivy Tamwood from Kim Harrison's The Hollow's series. The series takes place in an alternate earth where a virus destroyed a large portion of the human population and forced the supernatural world to come out of hiding. Now vampires, witches, weres, faeries, and more all try to live among humans. Ivy's a highblood living vampire, there's more information about here here. Short summary: she was born a vampire, has almost all of the typical vampire powers (to a lesser degree) without the weaknesses, and is destined to become an undead soulless vampire when she has her first death.

Due to her upbringing she's desperate for love, approval, and friendship but at the same time has walled herself up to protect herself and others. So, mostly she just comes off as professional and sometimes even cold. Doesn't work great for making friends, sadly.

She's also a Runner, which is kind of like a freelance detective in her world. She used to be an IS agent, basically the supernatural equivalent of the FBI, but she left that to open her own private service.

Hello! I'm Meghann, I played here a bit ago and was convinced to come back to this lovely game! I'm genuinely terrible at intros both out of character and in character. Anyway, I'm bringing Lorna aka Polaris from the Gifted which was a surprisingly decent Fox show that got canceled because modern Disney things.

Hey everyone! Heather here! I have decided to send Sephiroth home. I was just having a hard time getting him traction here and I've decided to bring back someone who was here for a time but has been gone for quite a while. He's coming in not with memories of this place, but with memories of a place he was before.

This is Dorian Pavus from Dragon Age Inquisition. Some of you may know him, others will soon because he really likes to hear the sound of his own voice. He'll be coming in rather soon with quips and sarcastic remarks and without much need to have the modern technology explained to him as he already spent a year in another place to become rather acquainted with the tech.

He's also a mage and a necromancer as well as an inventor, so there's a bit of a mad scientist in the man as well ♥ I look forward to throwing him at you all!

Hey all! It's Lily, the player of Arya Stark and today I am bringing in my second character into the Sphere. This here is Armeria. She is an incarnation of the primordial Norse goddess and personification of the sea, Rán, though she isn't aware of it yet. She is from the Viking era in the year 877, so this is all going to be quite a culture shock for her with things so modern here.

Anyway, I'm so excited to have her here! And I look forward to tossing her at everyone :D
